Practices and discourses for debate: Issues around the Truth. An overview from Michel Foucault

Abstract

Within the framework of the 9th Argentinian Conference and 4th Latin American Conference Physical Education and Science, held in the city of La Plata between 13th to June 17th 2011, we had the opportunity to coordinate and discuss jointly with Professor Evangelina Montero Labat (UNLP / FaHCE), the work group “Problems of practices and discourses.” This review refers to discussions present in both papers as well as in other spaces in the Conference. It also introduces some theoretical key concepts present in the thought of Michel Foucault in tune with the concerns and issues contained in the productions.
