Fuentes de conocimiento para la intervención pedagógica: estudio de caso con una entrenadora de surf

La naturaleza dinámica y adaptativa de la intervención pedagógica de la entrenadora de deportes de aventura, debido a la imprevisibilidad del entorno natural, sugiere una mayor apreciación del aprendizaje profesional a través de la práctica deportiva y las experiencias pedagógicas profesionales. Este estudio buscó analizar las fuentes de conocimiento de una instructora de surf para su intervención pedagógica. Se realizó un estudio de caso cualitativo con una instructora de surf experimentada. Los datos se recopilaron mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas para obtener información sobre las fuentes de conocimiento de la instructora para la enseñanza del surf. Se utilizaron procedimientos de análisis temático para identificar inductivamente patrones temáticos en los datos. Las principales fuentes de conocimiento de la entrenadora para su intervención pedagógica en el surf incluyeron el aprendizaje a través de la participación en su trabajo diario como entrenadora y en el contexto deportivo del surf (práctica deportiva, instrucción de surf, interacciones sociales, viajes, observación). La práctica deportiva de este deporte también jugó un papel central en el aprendizaje de la entrenadora. Uno de los aspectos predominantes de las fuentes de conocimiento mencionadas por la entrenadora es la apreciación de situaciones de aprendizaje no relacionadas con un sistema educativo institucionalizado, como se verifica en estudios con otros instructores de surf y deportes de aventura. El aprendizaje profesional de la entrenadora en el surf se guió por su continuo compromiso con las interacciones sociales en situaciones relacionadas con este deporte y por un proceso continuo de reflexión sobre su práctica profesional.
