Abstract

This article focuses on the different perspectives and approaches around the issue of physical education and teacher training and its relationship with the concern about teacher identity. The effort to join different voices which express
different senses and aim at different kinds of knowledge expresses an internal and external overview. The external overview will try to paraphrase the authors and find support in extracts from the discussions that took place in the workgroup whereas the internal will reflect upon the effect of the discussion on the moderator of the workgroup. The internal view will discuss his assessment not only of the presentation of the paper or the discussions that followed but also of his guidance to the authors as from the very first exchanges and drafts to the final revision of systematized and deeply examined experiences. This is probably where it lies the importance of the present article
