Resumen

El objetivo del estudio fue comparar el tiempo de entrenamiento de las habilidades motoras del voleibol gastado en 12 semanas en equipos escolares, teniendo como objetivo secundario comparar indicadores de desempeño durante una competición. Se trata de una investigación con delineamiento longitudinal. En el curso de 12 semanas el entrenamiento de cinco equipos, siendo sus acciones registradas en fichas, luego fueron filmados 16 partidos del campeonato escolar de Paraí­ba de dichos equipos. La Anova de una forma identificó diferencias entre los equipos en el tiempo gastado y en los indicadores de rendimiento entre los equipos clasificados de acuerdo con la posición en el ranking de la competición. Se concluyó que el tiempo empleado en el entrenamiento es fundamental para el desempeño durante la competición
