Entrenamiento de Alta Intensidad Funcional en el Baloncesto Moderno: aproximación crítica

La investigación explora el Entrenamiento de Alta Intensidad Funcional (HIFT) como metodología complementaria en el baloncesto, argumentando su inclusión estratégica para mejorar el rendimiento. Se realizó una revisión de 45 artículos, seleccionando 23 relevantes de bases científicas reconocidas. Los hallazgos muestran que el HIFT, por su enfoque integral cardiovascular, neuromuscular y metabólico, es una alternativa eficiente para las exigencias físicas del baloncesto, deporte que combina componentes aeróbicos y anaeróbicos. Se concluye que la aplicación del HIFT puede optimizar la planificación y progresión del entrenamiento, potenciando el alto rendimiento en jugadores de baloncesto.
